This class serves as a preview to the full Dare to Lead™ Training workshop and gives attendees an overview of the key skill sets needed to become a courageous leader.

In this class you will: 

  • Acknowledge the definition and importance of vulnerability in courageous leaders

  • Identify and understand emotions in yourself and others

  • Understand the importance of empathy and wholeheartedness in the workplace

  • Complete a Daring Leader Assessment and draft an action plan for incremental improvement in one aspect of daring leadership

This class is perfect if you are new to Brené Brown's research and are interested in seeing what it's all about. It is also perfect for corporate, education, and non-profit leaders looking for practical methods to start building courageous skill sets within their teams.

Shedding Your Armor and Braving Trust

A 4-Hour Workshop for

Leaning into Difficult Conversations and Building Trust

 

This class is a focused session on one of the four key skill sets of daring leadership — braving trust. 

In this class you will: 

  • Identify the seven key elements of trust

  • Engage in a lively discussion answering the question, "Are 'they' really doing their best?"

  • Learn to employ curiosity and new skills in difficult situations

  • Practice giving and receiving feedback and identifying emotions in engaged feedback sessions

  • Learn the importance of "Clear is kind. Unclear is unkind." when giving feedback

  • Create a plan to gain, maintain, or rebuild trust in a specific relationship

This class is perfect if you are a new leader or an existing leader with a new team and are looking to create a culture of trust among your team.

  • Identify who is in your corner to help you rise

  • Leverage tools to more quickly overcome failure

Becoming a Shame Slayer and Leading with Courage

An 8-Hour Workshop for Banishing Shame in the Workplace

 

This class is dedicated to identifying, combating, and rising against shame in the workplace. Shame can show up in many different forms — from back-channeling and gossiping to power-over and harassment. 

In this class you will: 

  • Get comfortable with talking about shame

  • Identify how shame shows up in our workplaces

  • Understand the emotional responses to shame in self and others

  • Become a shame slayer — learn how to combat shame with self-compassion and empathy

  • Build a safe community in which to have brave conversations and create connection

  • Receive an introduction to the four key skill sets needed to become a courageous leader

  • Complete a Daring Leader Assessment
